PARKER IS AFRAID OF FAILURE AND LETTING HIS MOTHER DOWN. HE'S ALSO AFRAID THAT HIS FATHER WILL TRY TO COME BACK INTO HIS MOTHERS LIFE AND SHE WILL GIVE IN.
HE SPENT FOUR MONTHS IN JUVENILE HALL WHEN HE WAS THIRTEEN, FOR ASSAULTING HIS FATHER WITH A BASEBALL BAT. THE COURT RECORDS WERE SEALED, SO IT DOESN'T FOLLOW HIM.

personality
PARKER IS WHAT YOU MIGHT CALL A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH. HE'S A LITTLE JAGGED AROUND THE EDGES, BUT ONCE YOU GET PASSED THAT HE'S ACTUALLY QUITE SWEET. COMING FROM A BROKEN HOME, HE WATCHED (AND LISTENED TO) HIS PARENTS ARGUE AND HIS FATHER ABUSE HIS MOTHER SO HE TENDS TO BE CYNICAL WHEN IT COMES TO COMMITMENT AND RELATIONSHIPS. THOUGH, THE PLUS SIDE TO THAT IS THAT HE IS VERY PROTECTIVE OF WOMEN AND LOYAL TO THOSE HE LOVES. PARKER IS YOUR TYPICAL GUY, LOVES SPORTS, ESPECIALLY LACROSSE.
LIKE MOST TEENAGERS, PARKER LOVES TO BE SOCIAL AND PARTY AND NEVER SAYS NO TO AN INVITATION FOR ONE. HIS MOTTO IS WORK HARD, PLAY HARDER. HE'S GOT A BIT OF CHARM TO HIM WHEN IT COMES TO THE LADIES, BUT NO NEED FOR ALARM BECAUSE HE'S NOT THE GUY JUST LOOKING FOR THE HOOKUP. HIS MAMA RAISED HIM RIGHT AND GAVE HIM MORALS, BUT HE CAN BE A BIT OF A FLIRT. PARKER LIKES TO TAKE CARE OF HIMSELF AND HE DOES WORK OUT EVERY DAY, THOUGH HE DOESN'T NECESSARILY EAT RIGHT BUT HE DOES LOVE TO EAT.
MOST OF THE TIME PARKER IS DOCILE, JUST TRYING TO ENJOY LIFE, BUT GET HIM ANGRY AND THERE'S REALLY NO STOPPING HIM. HE'S STRONG AND MEAN AND HAS NO ISSUE WITH GETTING INTO A FIGHT. HIS FUSE IS FAIRLY LONG BUT HE DOES HAVE A TEMPER ON HIM THAT CAN IGNITE IF YOU PUSH HIS BUTTONS. BUT, PAST THAT HE LOVES TO JUST JOKE AROUND AND HAVE A GOOD TIME, ENJOY HIMSELF AND BASICALLY JUST LIVE LIFE.

WEREWOLF - ALMOST A YEAR AGO, AT THE AGE OF SEVENTEEN, HE WAS BITTEN BY AN ALPHA WOLF. PARKER IS WHAT YOU WOULD CONSIDER A 'TRUE ALPHA' THOUGH HE ISN'T NECESSARILY AFFILIATED WITH A PACK PER SE, SO SOME MIGHT DEFINE HIM AS AN OMEGA WOLF. HE IS, HOWEVER QUITE DOMINANT IN PERSONALITY AND CHARACTERISTIC, SO WHILE HE HASN'T KILLED FOR THE TITLE OF ALPHA TO GAIN THAT STATUS, HE IS CONSIDERED A RARE BREED OF WOLF 'BORN' AN ALPHA.
IN TERMS OF THE SUPERNATURAL WAR, PARKER IS REALLY CONSIDERED NEUTRAL, NEITHER LIGHT NOR DARK AND WOULD PREFER TO STAY OUT OF IT ALL. THOUGH, IF YOU HAD TO CLASSIFY HIM ONE SIDE OR ANOTHER, HE WOULD BE CONSIDERED, LIGHT.

history
PARKER (SORRELL) WAS BORN TO VICTOR AND PAIGE SORRELL ON OCTOBER 19TH IN GRAYSON, VIRGINIA PAIGE WAS JUST FINISHING UP HER FINAL YEAR IN SCHOOL TO BECOME A DENTAL HYGIENIST AND VICTOR WAS GOING BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN JOBS. MONEY WAS TIGHT AND THINGS WERE STRESSFUL, BUT THE TWO HAD OWNED A SMALL, TWO BEDROOM HOUSE THAT WAS THERE OWN AND A NEWBORN BABY THAT THEY LOVED VERY MUCH. THE TWO CONTINUED ON, RAISING THEIR SON, HOWEVER WHEN VICTOR COULDN'T KEEP HIS JOB AND MONEY GOT EVEN TIGHTER, HE STARTED WITHDRAWING FROM HIS WIFE. WHEN PARKER WAS TWO, THINGS STARTED LOOKING UP AND VICTOR GOT A JOB AS A CONTRACTOR AND THEIR MARRIAGE SEEMED TO BE BACK ON THE UPSIDE. A BABY GIRL WAS WELCOMED TO THEIR LITTLE FAMILY WHEN PARKER WAS THREE. THINGS SEEMED TO BE HAPPY IN THE SORRELL HOUSE AND FOR A FEW YEARS THEY WERE.
AT FIVE, PARKER STARTED SCHOOL WHICH WENT OFF WITHOUT A HITCH. HE SEEMED TO EXCEL AND STARTED TO SHOW AN INTEREST IN SPORTS. IT WAS WHEN HE WAS SIX YEARS OLD THAT THINGS STARTED TO GO DOWNHILL AGAIN. VICTOR LOST HIS JOB AND HE STARTED DRINKING WHICH TURNED INTO LATE NIGHT ARGUMENTS BETWEEN PAIGE AND HER HUSBAND. SOON AFTER HE STOPPED COMING HOME SOME NIGHTS (CHEATING) AND THE FIGHTS AND CRYING WERE NOW HAPPENING MORE OFTEN THAN THEY WEREN'T. WITH THAT CAME THE BEATINGS, VICTOR BEGAN GETTING VIOLENT WITH HIS WIVE WHEN SHE WOULD CONFRONT HIM ABOUT HIS CHEATING AND DRINKING. PARKER KNEW HE COULDN'T DO ANYTHING EXCEPT TRY TO PROTECT HIS SISTER, SO THAT WAS WHAT HE DID. AT NINE, THE SCHOOL INTERVENED WHEN HIS GRADES STARTED TO SLIP AND PARKER WAS FALLING ASLEEP IN CLASS. THAT WAS WHEN HIS MOTHER FINALLY FILED FOR DIVORCE.
WHEN HE WAS TEN, THEY PACKED UP THEIR ENTIRE LIVES AND CHANGED THEIR LAST NAME TO PAIGE'S MAIDEN NAME AND MOVED TO FAIRLAWN, VIRGINIA. AT FIRST THEY LIVED IN A HOTEL WHILE PAIGE LOOKED FOR A JOB. PARKER WAS ANGRY THAT HE HAD TO UPROOT HIS LIFE, HE WAS ANGRY AT HIS FATHER FOR BEING SO USELESS AND HE HATED HIM FOR EVERYTHING HE'D DONE TO HIS MOTHER. HE STARTED ACTING OUT AND GETTING INTO FIGHTS, STEALING AND BASICALLY DOING ANYTHING FOR ATTENTION. THAT WAS WHEN PARKER MET HIS BEST FRIEND, TRISTAN. THE TWO OF THEM QUICKLY BECAME INSEPARABLE, AN ESCAPE OF SORTS FROM THEIR HOMELIFE AND AN UNSPOKEN UNDERSTANDING THAT THEY WERE DEALING WITH SHIT. IT WAS AROUND THAT TIME WHEN THEY BOTH STARTED TO PLAY LACROSSE AS A MEANS OF ESCAPE.
AT THIRTEEN, HIS FATHER SHOWED UP AT THEIR DOORSTEP AND AGAINST PARKER'S PLEADING, SHE TOOK HIM IN. THE HAPPINESS LASTED ABOUT A WEEK BEFORE THE ARGUING BEGAN AND WITHIN DAYS OF THAT, VICTOR HAD PUT HIS HANDS ON PAIGE. PARKER COULDN'T TAKE IT AND HE ASSAULTED HIS FATHER WITH A BASEBALL BAT. BECAUSE OF THE EXTENT OF VICTOR'S INJURIES, PARKER WAS SENTENCED TO JUVENILE HALL WHERE HE STAYED FOR FOUR MONTHS. SHORTLY AFTER HE WAS RELEASED FROM DETENTION, HE BEGAN HIGH SCHOOL AT FAIRLAWN HIGH. PARKER WORKED HIS ASS OFF TO GET HIS GRADES UP AND PRACTICED LACROSSE EVERY SINGLE DAY. AT THE BEGINNING OF HIS JUNIOR YEAR, PARKER HAD GONE OUT TO A PARTY WITH SOME OF HIS FRIENDS. ON THE WAY HOME, HE DECIDED TO TAKE A SHORTCUT THROUGH THE WOODS. IT WAS THEN THAT HE WAS BITTEN BY AN ALPHA WOLF. NOW, GOING INTO HIS SENIOR YEAR, HE HAS LEARNED MORE OR LESS HOW TO CONTROL HIS ABILITY, HOWEVER THERE ARE TIMES WHEN IT DOES GET THE BEST OF HIM.

[style=font-family: arial narrow; font-size: 10px; color: #000000; text-transform: uppercase; text-align: left; padding: 5px;]He had spent the morning working. Hell, he felt like he was always working. That was what the summer was for though, working and saving up enough money to survive, practice lacrosse and party when time permitted. Parker had two jobs, life guard by day, bouncer by night. They weren't the most glamorous of jobs, but his mother didn't have the money to keep sending to him when he needed things and he preferred it the other way around where he could send her money to help take care of his sister. Parker's biggest fear was that his father would come back while he was in California, but what fueled it even more was any reason for her to fall back into it. If she was comfortable enough that she didn't need help with money, that was one small weight off his shoulders. Barely thought. He had seen what happened the last time his father came around and if things had been bad when he was a little kid, it had only gotten worse. Parker's entire life was turned upside down by that man, but this time, if their was a this time, his life would be far more than that, it would be ruined. To say he loathed his father would have been an understatement, but to say that he would smile at the sight of his stone cold corpse, that would be accurate.
Before he left the beach, Parker had showered and changed at the lifeguard station. He had no idea what he was going to do with the rest of his day, but he was sure as hell grateful that he had the night off. Burnt out wasn't what he was, but what he wanted was some time to just kick back and chill, do his own thing and hopefully bring Tristan with him. There was no doubt about it, the pair hadn't grown up on easy street and being surrounded by people who had for three years was sort of a kick in the proverbial wound. Parker was never looking for a pity party, in fact he carried on like everything was cool. The more people you let in the more likely they would be to pry and his secrets were just that. Parker only trusted one person outside of his sister and that was Tristan, the one person who knew exactly what he'd gone through, the only person who knew he spent time in juvie. The courts had sealed those records and Parker had every intention of keeping that knowledge locked away.
As he walked toward his bike, he could feel the vibration of his phone inside his jacket. Parker reached into the inside pocket, pulling the his phone out, letting out a chuckle as he saw the text on his screen. Sliding his finger over the glass, he typed in his code to unlock the phone, pulling the actual text up. Free drinks sounds about right. Fifteen minutes give or take. Parker hit send before locking his phone and slipping it back into his pocket, zipping his coat back up. He learned a long time ago that telling anyone a time in Los Angeles was always a guestimate and would be give or take depending on how bad the traffic was. That was one reason he opted for a bike over a car, at least this way he could somewhat easily weave through the insane traffic instead of sit and be at the mercy of the other cars and traffic. Grabbing his helmet, Parker placed it on his head before starting up his bike and speeding off toward the campus. It was strange to not live at Brentwood anymore and while he had no real desire to live there, he wasn't so sure he wanted to live on UCLA's campus either.
It was a double edged sword really. Parker had no idea what he wanted to do with the rest of his life, but what he knew was that he wanted to be more than what he was and not have to worry about money the way his mother did. For the time of day traffic wasn't too bad but it wasn't great, so by the time he had parked his bike in the parking lot of the bar, it had been about twenty minutes. It wasn't bad for what it could have been. Parker turned his bike off, removing his helmet and dismounted the bike, placing the helmet on the back. The bar wasn't a bad place to hang out, there were tv's to catch the games and even though they weren't twenty one, he and Tristan always managed to get themselves some drinks. As he entered into the bar, Parker let his eyes scan through the crowd of people. It had taken him a few seconds to find him, but he spotted his best friend sitting at a table in the corner. Walking nonchalantly toward the table, Parker smiled, nodding at his best friend letting out a small chuckle. "Tristan. Free drinks?" He sat down, grabbing the glass that was passed to him, taking a large sip from the glass. It was strong, whatever it was burned the back of his throat but it felt good. "So, what's on the agenda for tonight? I actually have the night off." It felt like years since he had just been able to relax and enjoy life. Tonight sounded like as good a night as any.
